Dr. Maharathi is a Research Assistant Professor of Neurology and Rehabilitation with a strong background in biomedical signal processing, image processing, and machine learning. His expertise in multimodal data analysis and system development has enabled him to lead the design and implementation of advanced systems for epilepsy surgery patients. His research interests span basic science, translational research, and neuroinformatics, with a particular focus on leveraging computational approaches to enhance the clinical utility of EEG including sEEG, ECoG, aEEG EMU EEG.

Education:
Dr. Maharathi attended National Institute of technology, Rourkela, India for his bachelor’s in technology (B. Tech) in Biotechnology. He completed his MS and PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
