Dr. Davis received graduate medical training at the University of Toledo in Ohio, and later came to Chicago to pursue residency and fellowship training at the University of Chicago. Dr. Davis practices Neurocritical Care and Epilepsy primarily in the inpatient setting. He has a vested interest in medical education and currently serves as the Program Director for the Neurology Residency, after serving as the Associate Director. He has won numerous awards for excellence and recognition in education and teaching, including the John S. Garvin, MD Faculty of the year Award, Faculty Mentor of the Year Award, Excellence in Teaching Medical Students, and the UIC College of Medicine Departmental Rising Star Award for Neurology.

- EEG Interpretation and findings after cardiac arrest
- EEG patterns, outcomes, and risk for epilepsy in the Neurocritical Care population
