Samuel Ohlander, MD received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, where he later completed his residency in Urologic Surgery. Dr. Ohlander then went on to complete a microsurgical fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine with Dr. Larry Lipshultz. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Ohlander returned to Chicago to join the UIC Department of Urology as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Ohlander’s practice offers comprehensive Men’s Reproductive and Sexual Health services. He specializes in male infertility, fertility preservation, hypogonadism, vasectomies, and microsurgical vasectomy reversals, as well as sexual medicine, penile prosthesis implantation, and Peyronie’s disease. Dr. Ohlander’s research interests include hypogonadism, male infertility, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal, varicoceles, and erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Ohlander is native to Northern Illinois, and prior to his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
