I am an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Originating from the South Side of Chicago I received my medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed my Family Medicine Residency at Rush Medical College.

My interests lie in chronic disease management, preventive medicine,
men’s health, health industry management and practice efficiencies.

I have a professional interest in helping physicians and health systems adapt to the legislative and reimbursement changes in the health market.

I direct physician engagement and education for several health reform programs at UI Health.

These include Physician Quality Reporting System, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Meaningful Use, Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), Quality Payment Program (QPP), Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and the Advanced Alternative Payment Models (Advanced APMs).
