I am a an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. Having started my career as a professional photographer, I bring a non-traditional perspective to medicine. As a native Chicagoan, I have not left the medical district since embarking on a medical career – Rush Medical College, UIC Family Medicine Residency and UIC Geriatrics Fellowship with rotations at Rush, UIC, Stroger, and Jesse Brown VA. What makes Family Medicine so exciting is that we are able to care for all types of patients at all ages and stages of life. In true Family Medicine Tradition, I have a wide variety of interests including full-spectrum family medicine from prenatal care to neonates to geriatrics, home physician visits, LBG and Trans-inclusive care, and undeserved medicine to name a few. I also enjoy teaching and am involved in both medical student and resident education.
