Darcie Burton, DO
Resident – Family Medicine University of Illinois College of MedicineFamily Medicine ResidencyBiographical Info
Darcie here! I’m a Detroit native and an osteopathic-trained physician. Before I decided on becoming a doctor I tried on several different professional hats including Montessori preschool teacher, portrait photographer, elementary school mentor/tutor, and standardized-patient. My special interests are in reproductive justice and reducing health disparities. I am committed to providing full-spectrum reproductive health care. I fell in love with UIC’s family medicine program because of their commitment to supporting the community, serving vulnerable populations, and social justice.
For fun, you can find me at thrifting and estate sales.
