Biographical Info

Dr. Conner is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is an Academic Hospitalist at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. She recently earned an MPH in Epidemiology from the UIC School of Public Health. Her research and advocacy interests are anti-racism, police violence, the carceral system, and the opioid epidemic. Dr. Conner serves as core teaching faculty for the UIC Internal Medicine residency program and as the Co-Clerkship Director at the JBVA for M3 and M4 students. She is on the Department of Medicine Inclusion Council and is one of the faculty advisors for the Women Trainees Interest Group. In 2020 Dr. Conner designed and implemented the Anti-Racism in Medicine (ARIM) curriculum for the UIC IM residents and faculty.
