Length of Training: Three (3) years
Board Eligibility: All residents that satisfactorily complete this three-year residency program will be eligible to take the certifying examination offered by the American Board of Dermatology.
Training Facilities: Currently our program has three major training facilities: 1). The UIC Medical Center 2). Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and 3). The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center (FHCC)
Application Process: All applications should be submitted to ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) by October 15th. U.S. or foreign medical school graduates will be considered. We only offer “Advanced” training positions (PGY-II to PGY-IV).
2020 – 2021 INTERVIEWS – TBD
The following documents should be submitted with the ERAS Common Application form:
- Minimum of three (3) letters of recommendation
- MSPE/Dean’s letter
- Personal statement
- Transcript
- USMLE scores, Step 1 and Step 2 (if available)
- Photograph (if selected to interview)
Selected qualified applicants will be invited for a personal interview.
Admission Process: Applicants are ranked and accepted through the NRMP (National Resident Matching Program).
