Biography

Dr. Braverman provides obstetrical care for low- and moderate-risk pregnancies. She also specializes in gynecologic care, including contraception, the management of complex gynecological conditions, benign gynecological surgery, and in-office gynecological procedures. Dr. Braverman sees patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) at Mile Square.

Funded Projects

IL Medicaid: collaborator for Doc-Assist state-wide program to provide warm-line for clinicians managing obstetric patients with opioid use disorder.

SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration): Ob/Gyn lead to develop resident and medical school curricula for training on the subject of substance use disorder in addition to training UIC and non-UIC clinicians to obtain DATA-waiver for the prescription of buprenorphine for opioid use disorder.

HRSA (Health Resources and Services Administration): Ob/Gyn lead for Two-Gen clinic as part of the State Maternal Health Innovation Program to develop a pilot postpartum clinic for high-risk patients.
