Welcome to the Division of Academic Specialists in General OB/Gyn

The goal of the Division of Academic Specialists in General OB/Gyn is to provide comprehensive, quality health care for women throughout their reproductive years and beyond. These experienced and board certified/eligible physicians combine a wide variety of interests and expertise to deal with the problems and concerns covering the spectrum of a woman’s life from childhood/adolescence, to the reproductive years, to menopause and beyond. We aim to educate women on health maintenance and prevention of medical illnesses, as well as to participate in decision making regarding the management of their current conditions through detailed evidence-based counseling and practice.

The members of our division are fully committed to education, not only of our patients, but to medical students and resident physicians training to be Obstetricians and Gynecologists. The Division members are also contributing to the advancement of health care for women by their involvement in clinical research.
