The Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine wards occupy the 5th and 6th floors of the University of Illinois Medical Center, located at:

Our facilities also include a 22-bed Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit equipped with advanced neuromonitoring tools and a step-down unit with telemetry capabilities.

Outpatient Services

The division of Neurology & Rehabilitation is committed to providing a wide range of specialty, primary, and emergency care. The Neuroscience Center is located on the fourth floor of the Outpatient Care Center (4E) at:

The Neuroscience Center is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. More than 30 physicians from the specialties of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation, and Pain Management see over 15,000 patients per year in the Neuroscience Center.The Neuroscience Center has more than 24 examination rooms for patient visits and a large comfortable waiting area for patients with a stunning view of the Chicago skyline. This state-of-the-art facility also houses a complete set of diagnostic laboratories including: Electromyography (EMG), Electroencephalography (EEG), and Carotid Doppler and Ultrasound.
