UIC Neuro-COVID Clinic
Many patients who had COVID-19 develop long-term neurological complications. These include not only patients who were hospitalized but also those individuals who initially had mild symptoms and may not have had a confirmed diagnosis.
Long-term neurological symptoms include “brain fog” associated with impaired concentration and memory. Chronic symptoms are also referred to as long COVID or PASC (post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection).
We offer comprehensive clinical care for patients with neurological complications of PASC and provide access to ongoing research studies that address potential causes and treatments.
