The 2018-2019 Third Year Residents

Dr. Lorelei DiTommaso

Lorelei DiTommaso was born in the western suburbs of Chicago. She completed her BS in biochemistry with a minor in Italian at DePaul University. Following college, she volunteered at a hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. This experience led her to pursue a Masters in Public Health at UIC, where she researched occupational health disparities of low-income and migrant workers in Chicago. She then completed medical school at Rush Medical College. Prior to her dermatology residency, she will complete a year of internal medicine at Northshore University Health System. Lorelei enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking up meals, practicing yoga, and being outdoors working on her green thumb.

Dr. Mark Juhl

Mark Juhl grew up in New London, a small town in the lake country of Minnesota. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota, majoring in Psychology. His medical degree was obtained at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago and he will be completing his intern year at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago before beginning his dermatology residency. Mark enjoys exploring cities, skiing, and eating out.

Dr. Artem Sergeyenko

Artem Sergeyenko grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Biology and Psychology before entering medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his intern year at St. Joseph hospital prior to coming back to UIC for his dermatology residency. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, running along the lake, and Chicago’s vibrant festival scene.

Dr. Stephanie Wang

Stephanie Wang was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  She graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a B.S. in Neuroscience.  She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine.  After completing her intern year at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, she returned to UIC for her dermatology residency.   Stephanie enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines and restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
