About

Dr. Daniel DeLahunta practices in the Department of Surgery at UI Health. Dr. DeLahunta specializes in surgical wound care; tissue repair; regeneration of wound beds; diabetic foot care; lower extremity wounds; pressure ulcers; and venous ulcers. His practice involves both clinic-based management of wounds and applying surgical techniques to heal wounds. Dr. DeLahunta works with patients to recover from the social, psychological, and physiological hurdles that chronic wounds become. His team focuses on helping patients keep active, regain dignity, and facilitate their return to their lives and work.
