Welcome to the Department of Radiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Our fourfold mission parallels that of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Clinically, we strive to provide exceptional patient care throughout all fields of nuclear medicine, diagnostic and interventional radiology, incorporating the values of innovation, integrity, and inclusiveness. Educationally, our goal is to enhance the health of citizens of Illinois and the nation by respectfully teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. In addition, we are committed to supporting a culture of cutting-edge research in our efforts to advance medical care locally, regionally and nationally.
Finally, the department faculty and trainees are committed to the service mission, serving the needs of our patients, community, state, and nation through multiple levels of involvement at these levels.
