Dr. Julia Kerolus is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face and neck. She has dedicated training and special interest in facial nerve reanimation surgery and treating patients with facial paralysis.
Dr. Kerolus grew up in Poughkeepsie, NY and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She went on to complete a rigorous residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the esteemed Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. She then completed a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills with renowned facial plastic surgeons Dr. Paul Nassif
and Dr. Babak Azizzadeh.
Dr. Kerolus began her career working in private practice and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is now in private practice in Atlanta, GA where she continues to teach residents and students at Emory University. Dr. Kerolus is dedicated to global patient care and participates in overseas outreach projects that provide surgical care to underserved groups. She has two little girls and a husband who is a neurosurgeon. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
