About

Hi everyone! I’m originally from New Jersey, but went to college at the University of Pittsburgh where I majored in Sociology and Biology. I went to medical school at the University of Chicago and have thoroughly enjoyed living in Chicago for the last several years. During my time in medical school, I served on the school’s Wellness Committee, volunteered at a free clinic serving predominantly South Asian patients, and engaged in research on abortion access in primary care. I’m super excited about family medicine and the unique role we can play in preventing diseases and improving the health of our community. I’m especially interested in reproductive healthcare and geriatric healthcare. I believe that physicians can play a powerful role in advocating for change within their community, and I hope to incorporate this into my career as well. I love to spend time exploring different Chicago neighborhoods, playing board games with friends, and watching entirely too much TV. I’m thrilled to be able to train at UIC at work with the communities it serves.
