About
I am from the city of Chicago. I went to a public high school – Kenwood Academy. After college, I went to cooking school and worked as a chef for many years. These two experiences have really shaped my professional identity. The disparities I saw while working in kitchens and my experience of a great public institution – Kenwood Academy led me to change careers to a path that could do more for others. My role as clinic medical director gives me the opportunity to advance the quality of our care for this diverse patient population at our public institution.
Clinic Location: Family Medicine Center at University Village
Research Interests: Quality improvement efforts to advance the quadruple aim of improved patient outcomes, lower costs, patient satisfaction and clinician and clinical staff well-being.
