About

Caroline grew up in Urbana, Illinois and attended Oberlin College where she found a love for American social history and medicine. During her Americorps service year, she taught sex education in Chicago public schools and worked at an FQHC as a health educator, and knew she wanted to continue working with underserved communities in Chicago for her medical career. She has a strong passion for improving abortion access and reproductive health education. Her interest in Family Medicine stems from her desire to form long term connections with patients and assist with all aspects of their healthcare. Outside the hospital she loves swimming in Lake Michigan, karaoke, exploring local forest preserves and squishing her cat.
