Physicians
Our goal at the UIH Center for Venous Disease is to create an environment in which we strive to educate our patients on their specific condition and design a treatment plan aimed at achieving optimal care and outcomes. Our program continues to grow as a large majority of patients who come to UIH do so as the result of word of mouth or based upon the kind referrals of primary care and other physicians within the community. Given the extensive experience of our vascular and endovascular trained surgeons, we excel in the treatment of both straightforward and highly complex venous disease. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
For those patients with suspected venous insufficiency: in order to minimize the number of patient visits and assure efficiency in treating your patient’s concerns—ideally each patient should arrive to the UIH Center for Venous Disease having undergone bilateral lower extremity venous duplex and reflux studies and if possible, a six week interval of compression stocking use prior to evaluation by our team.
