At the University of Illinois Hospital Center for Venous Disease we strive to provide a comprehensive experience for every patient in the treatment of vein-related issues including: deep venous thrombosis (DVT), spider veins, varicose veins, ulcers of the extremity and other problems resulting from chronic swelling of the arms and legs.  Our knowledgeable vascular surgeons and staff seek to provide personalized, thorough and compassionate care for every patient with the goal of lasting, effective treatment.

The Division of Vascular Surgery and the Center for Venous Disease are also responsible for the supervision of the Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory as well as the interpretation of all noninvasive vascular testing procedures performed. Our accredited vascular laboratory is an essential component to the correct assessment and diagnosis of patients with venous disorders. In addition, the vascular surgeons at UIC work closely with the internationally recognized Director of the Center for Wound Healing and Tissue Regeneration: Dr. William Ennis, to treat venous stasis ulcers and the many problems which result from vein-related disease.
