I study the physiological and biophysical properties of the inner ear.
About
I have expertise in neuroscience and make electrophysiological recordings from hair cells and afferents in the inner ear. My research is focused on understanding the physical bases for hair cell transduction in the auditory (hearing) and vestibular (balance) systems, and how the signals from the sensory cells are transmitted to the central nervous system.
