On behalf of the Grove Award Selection Committee, Dr. Fred Zar would like to announce that the winner is M4 student Stephanie Gallitano! She was chosen as the outstanding graduating senior who best exemplified the qualities of Dr. Grove: a combination of intelligence and skills with excellence in academic achievement, high level involvement in medical school affairs, commitment to the medical community, altruistic pursuits, and leadership qualities. Please congratulate Stephanie when you see her!

Junior AOA - Class of 2014
 
It is a pleasure to announce that the following members of the Class of 2014 from Chicago have been selected for membership in the University of Illinois College of Medicine Alpha Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Alpha Omega Alpha was founded in 1902 by William Webster Root and five other medical students at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, which eleven years later became the College of Medicine of the University of Illinois.
   
Congratulations to all!  The College of Medicine is proud of our new Junior AOA members!
