This event was presented by The Teaching Support and Curriculum Committee of the Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago on June 21, 2011.

Dr. Harris identified three key learning theories pertinent to how adults learn and led an interactive discussion on their implications for curriculum design and teaching.

MHPE SUMMER CONFERENCE

The purpose of the MHPE Summer Conference is to provide a venue for Master of Health Professions Education students, alumni, and faculty to present and discuss innovations in health professions education, and for physicians in the audience to learn about ongoing educational research and program development topics. This two-day conference follows the residency for students completing core course work in the MHPE Online program and offers an opportunity for all MHPE students and alumni to:

• showcase completed projects
• seek consultation on work in progress
• network with peers
• plan future collaborations
