Biographical Info
Daniel Garvey, MD is a board-certified urologist, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Urology and the Director for the Urology Residency Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Garvey brings with him 25 years of private practice experience from Northwest Suburban Urology Associates.
Dr. Garvey has broad experience in urology but takes a special interest in infectious and inflammatory conditions of the urinary tract. He is also committed to patient education.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Garvey is involved in the Chicago Urological Society, the Illinois State Urologic Society and several other medical societies. He has served on the executive board of the Chicago Urologic Society and the Illinois State Urologic Society for 20 years, during which time he served as the society’s president, vice president and secretary.
Dr. Garvey completed his medical education at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and his residency at University of Illinois at Chicago after receiving an undergraduate degree in biology from Benedictine University.
