12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Staphylococcus aureus is responsible for the current epidemic of skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs) in the USA. However, virulence factors responsible for SSTIs remain incompletely defined as S. aureus strains exhibit exquisite tropism towards humans. In this seminar, I will present our resent findings where we have leveraged a natural murine model of SSTIs to unearth how S. aureus causes skin infections.
