Dr. Litwiller joined the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2016 as the Residency Program Director. Since then, Dr. Litwiller was appointment Associate Department Head to oversee all of the educational programs offered within the Department and promote faculty development.
Dr. Litwiller is a physician-educator who integrates her clinical and educational training to provide excellent patient care and supervision of residents. Her clinical practice covers all aspects of general obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Litwiller is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is an active member of the Society for Academic Specialists in General OB/Gyn and the Association of Professors of Obstetrics & Gynecology (APGO).
In 2017, Dr. Litwiller received the College of Medicine OBGYN Faculty of the Year Award. In 2018, Dr. Litwiller received the Golden Apple Teaching Award from the graduating OBGYN residents.
