UIC Global Women’s Health at 10th Annual Consortium of Universities for Global Health (March 2019)

The Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) supports academic institutions and partners to improve the wellbeing of people and the planet through education, research, service, and advocacy.

The 10^th Annual CUGH conference was held from March 8-10, 2019, at the Hilton Chicago Hotel. Host institutions included the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Herida, Northwestern University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Faculty members Dr. Gelila Goba, Dr. Erin Cavanaugh, and Dr. Aparna Ramanathan were all in attendance.

Dr. Gelila Goba was part of panel on “Eradicating Deaths from Cervical Cancer” at Global Cancer Satellite Session and “ The Guts of Surgical Ecosystem”  at 3^rd Annual Global Surgery Satellite sessions  on March 7.
