Geri Donenberg, PhD, Brenikki Floyd, PhD, and Nyssa Snow-Hill, PhD, with colleagues from Influents Innovations, Inc., David Smith, PhD, and Ed Feil, PhD, received funding from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities to complete the technology-based training tool for juvenile justice staff to deliver PHAT (Preventing HIV/AIDS Among Teens) Life.
The study seeks to increase uptake, dissemination, and implementation of PHAT Life by creating a training platform that reduces barriers associated with in-person training. The team will evaluate effectiveness and implementation, including cost, feasibility, satisfaction, acceptability, fidelity, and sustainability following real-time intervention delivery in a 2-arm randomized controlled trial.
