Save the Date for the Department of Medicine’s 7th Annual Scholarly Activities Day on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 8:30AM – 2:00PM.

This year’s theme is “Innovations in Clinical and Basic Science”. The theme is designed to represent diverse factors that drive poor health and disease outcomes, emphasizing research from the bench (basic) to the bedside (clinical) to the community (implementation & policy).

Oral scientific presentations will occur in Moss Auditorium, College of Medicine Research Building (COMRB), located at 835 South Wolcott Street. The poster session will occur in Student Center West, Thompson Room, 828 S. Wolcott Ave. 2nd Floor.

All faculty, fellows, residents, and students are encouraged to attend and present a poster. Posters may cover work previously presented elsewhere, does not need to be consistent with the theme, and you may submit more than one poster.

Awards will be given to the best posters in each of the following categories: Junior faculty, Fellows, Residents, Staff, and Students

Procedures to present a poster:
• Submit an abstract (250 words or less) by 11:59 pm on Monday, February 25, 2019 to http://go.uic.edu/poster.
• The poster should be no bigger than 8’ w x 4’ h (See the attached guidelines for more information.)
• Hang poster between 7:45 am and 9:30 am in the Student Center West, 2nd floor, Thompson Room and remove poster by 2:00pm on Thursday, March 7th.
• All poster topics will be accepted.
