Diagnostic Radiology Residency

Message from the Director Heading link

Thank you for your interest in our Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. The principle objective of the program is to train highly competent, well-rounded and responsible clinical radiologists with positive attitudes towards research. Emphasis is placed on training the resident to assume the role of consultant in the patient-care team, while also engaging in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging-guided procedures. The program strives to provide an excellent educational program with both in-depth practical experience in all radiological subspecialties, as well an extensive lecture-based curriculum. Basic and clinical research is encouraged for residents.

If you have any questions that are not answered to your satisfaction on this website feel free to contact our department Educational Coordinator, Rachel Marks (radadmin@uic.edu).

Thank you for your interest in our program. We look forward to receiving your application.
