Ashley Hill, DrPH, MPH is faculty in the Division of Community Health Sciences and Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health at the University of Illinois Chicago. As a reproductive epidemiologist, her research and practice examine social determinants of sexual and reproductive health and adverse pregnancy outcomes while emphasizing equitable approaches to improve outcomes that are community engaged from inception to implementation. Her work aims to determine risk factors for disparities and suggest approaches to aid in the development of prevention strategies to reduce morbidity. Dr. Hill applies social determinants of health frameworks in epidemiologic research that may be translated to actionable strategies in communities.
