About

Hometown: Hong Kong, Hong Kong

College: Northwestern University Medical School: Saint Louis University School of Medicine

Career Aspirations/Interests: I'm really interested in adolescent addiction which is what originally drew me to pursuing a career in Med-Peds but I also love Global Health and would love to continue to pursue work in that area!! :)

Current Extracurriculars/Research: In medical school, I was involved in student government and spent a lot of my time planning events and opportunities for the Community Health Distinction

Hobbies: watching documentaries, playing board games, starting and then almost immediately stopping crafts, attending concerts and going to half-off movie Tuesdays :) I also love cooking for and hosting my friends

Other Interesting Facts: Before going to medical school, I thought I could get away with never learning how to drive but after finding out I was moving to Saint Louis, I finally got my license at the ripe age of 23!

What I Love About UIC: During my interview, it immediately stuck out to me how much each person seemed to genuinely care about their co-workers and their patients! I got a really warm feeling and have been welcomed with open arms since matching!! I can't wait to learn and train to become the physician I hope to be with these incredibly driven and compassionate humans!!
