About

My academic and clinical engagement in clinical informatics is driven by a commitment to advancing healthcare delivery at the intersection of patient care and data-driven innovation. I studied Biology and Applied Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University, which laid the foundation for my passion for data analytics and systems thinking in medicine.

I earned my medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed my pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in pediatric critical care at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. During my pediatric critical care fellowship, I developed a customized mobile app to streamline PICU onboarding for residents and enhance their clinical confidence and knowledge.

My academic and professional interests include pediatric health informatics, EHR implementation and optimization, clinical workflow analysis, data visualization, and improving physician documentation efficiency—particularly around discharge processes. I am also eager to explore applications of artificial intelligence to support clinical decision-making and improve outcomes for pediatric patients.
