About
Dr. Mark Gilbert practices in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at UI Health. Dr. Gilbert is a subspecialist in laryngeal disorders who specializes in advanced techniques for managing voice, airway, and swallowing problems. He also treats complex problems like spasmodic dysphonia, glottic or subglottic stenosis, and recurrent laryngeal nerve paralysis, and off laryngeal Botox injections, vocal fold injections, and KTP laser.
Personally, Dr. Gilbert has spent more than 30 years as a vocalist with theatrical productions, operas, and choirs across the United States, and is especially attuned to the medical needs of professional vocalists.
