UIPG Fun 5K
The 5 K Fun Run/Walk, proudly sponsored by the University of Illinois Physicians Group, was held on Sunday, May17, 2026, at Burnham Park on Chicago’s beautiful Lakefront! This volunteer event is designed to promote wellness, camaraderie, and, most importantly, fun. Whether you’re running as part of a team or as an individual, all are welcome—families included! It’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy a healthy activity with colleagues, friends and loved ones. All proceeds will go towards supporting UI Health patient care services. Let’s unite in this effort to enhance not only our health but the health and well-being of our communities!This year the 5K Fun Run/Walk will be supported by our colleagues from the UIC Sports Medicine which includes fellowship trained sports-medicine specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation and orthopedics who have a world of experience.
