In 2024, Dr. Victoria Lee received a Cures Within Reach (CWR) grant to study whether topical probiotic sinus irrigations using lactic acid bacteria, a common probiotic used in the gut, can reduce symptoms in difficult-to-treat chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). Her work was recently spotlighted by CWR.
