The Department of Medicine has a new fellowship program.  Dr. Saul Weiner is co‐directing the new fellowship program entitle “Clinical Leaders and Academic Scholars (CLASS)”. The program is geared toward preparing physicians for leadership in medical education, clinical services, and research. The goal of the fellowship program is to graduate collaborative and self‐directed continuous learners who identify and respond to the most significant clinical, research, and educational challenges in the organizations and/or disciplines they serve. The fellowship is designed to develop a set of core competencies, complemented with specialized expertise depending on the track. It is open to graduates of any Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited programs across all specialties.
