I obtained my PhD in Chemistry from Gujarat University, India, in 2022. Subsequently, during my first postdoc at IIT Kanpur, I transitioned to single-molecule biophysics and virology, where I employed smFRET imaging assays to investigate the conformational transitions of coronavirus spike proteins on the pathway to fusion. My current research in Prof. Zheng’s laboratory focuses on integrating molecular virology with advanced biophysical approaches to elucidate the mechanisms of viral entry mediated by class 1 fusion proteins.
