About
Dr. Spencer completed a B.A. in Economics at the University of Georgia in 2016, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at Emory University in 2020, and Ph.D. in Applied Physiology at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2025. Dr. Spencer’s research involves the use of neurostimulation and neuroimaging techniques to elucidate the mechanisms underlying rehabilitation response in individuals with chronic stroke with the intention of facilitating the development of targeted treatment techniques.
