Ashley Kendall, Ph.D., and the Project AIM team recently presented their work implementing app-based meditation programs for youth and officers in the juvenile legal system at an NCCIH-organized symposium during the annual meeting of the Society for Prevention Research.

The symposium, Prevention Research for Mental Health and Resilience, featured presentations from leading institutions including Northwestern University and the University of Washington. The session was recognized as an Abstract of Distinction, an honor awarded to abstracts identified as particularly noteworthy within the conference program.

Project AIM’s inclusion in this distinguished symposium highlights the growing recognition of innovative approaches to supporting mental health and resilience among youth involved in the juvenile legal system.
