Title: Integrating AI Risk Prediction Models Into Lung Cancer Screening: The Sybil Model
Dr. Pasquinelli’s clinical care encompasses lung cancer screening, a dedicated pulmonary nodule clinic, and thoracic oncology care - providing continuity from early detection through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. She is the principal investigator on multiple grants and a founding member of the Sybil Consortium, where she is working on the implementation and validation of artificial intelligence–driven lung cancer early detection and risk prediction models.
Her clinical and scholarly work is centered on reducing barriers to care, addressing health disparities, and improving lung cancer outcomes. Dr. Pasquinelli is the recipient of the 2021 Prevent Cancer Foundation James L. Mulshine National Leadership Award, the 2024 UI Health Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award, and the 2025 GO2 Excellence in Advancing Lung Cancer Early Detection Award.
