About
Brian Taylor joins SAIL as Program Director of Technology-Based Simulation. He is a public health and higher education leader with expertise in technology-based simulation, health education, and workforce development. In this role, he oversees daily operations, develops innovative curricula, and advances interprofessional training to prepare healthcare professionals for real-world challenges.
Prior to SAIL, Brian was Assistant Program Director at the UIC Midwest AIDS Training & Education Center (MATEC–Illinois), where he led statewide HIV education initiatives, designed culturally responsive curricula, and managed evaluation for federally and state-funded programs. He has also held leadership roles in behavioral health, SAMHSA-funded research, and simulation-based education at the University of Chicago Medicine.
Brian is a Certified Health Education Specialist, holds an MPA from Governors State University, and is pursuing a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration.
