About

I grew up in Tempe, Arizona and had early personal and community exposures to health inequities, sparking my interest in medicine. For college, I attended the University of San Francisco where I studied biology and chemistry while juggling 2-3 jobs at a time to afford tuition and cost of living. Given those challenges, when I graduated in 2017, I moved on to a post-baccalaureate program at San Francisco State University to prepare for a medical education. I then moved to Chicago to attend the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, graduating in 2025. I met my husband in Chicago, have a witty and bright 8 year old stepdaughter named Emily, and have a little one on the way. I enjoy running, gardening, baking box cakes, and doing paint-by-numbers.
