Advancing digital solutions to improve the health and well-being of cancer survivors
The Vitality Lab at the University of Illinois Chicago focuses on developing and optimizing digital health interventions to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors across diverse populations. Particularly in the context of chronic diseases such as cancer, obesity, and diabetes, our work integrates behavioral science with technology to improve diet, physical activity, and weight management. We prioritize health equity by identifying effective strategies to engage underrepresented groups in clinical research and apply mixed methods to implement and scale lifestyle interventions in both clinical and community settings.
