Each year, in honor of our Director Emeritus Dr. Larry S. Tobacman, MD, the MSTP invites a distinguished member of the physician-scientist community to speak on medicine, biomedical research, and beyond. This year, our program will host Dr. Kimryn Rathmell, Director of the National Cancer Institute, for an exciting talk about her career and experience.

The lecture will take place on Wednesday, September 25th at 1:00 p.m. CDT. This is a hybrid event. The MSTP will host Dr. Rathmell for an in-person talk in College of Medicine West Tower (CMWT) Room 227, and a Zoom link is provided for those who wish to attend virtually. There will be a reception in the Faculty Alumni Lounge, CMWT 119, immediately following the lecture.
