About
Dr. Paul Blessing is an emergency physician whose work focuses on global emergency care systems, digital health innovation, and health equity in low-resource environments. He completed the combined Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he was actively engaged in international emergency medicine development, clinical education, and global public health partnerships. Dr. Blessing has collaborated with global emergency medicine organizations across Africa, Europe, and North America, contributing to the development of ethical frameworks for telehealth, workforce development strategies, and mobile health (mHealth) decision-support in acute burn care. His academic interests include global emergency care delivery, medical education, and the integration of mobile health technology to support clinical decision-making in resource-limited settings.
