Rockford Medical Student Development Program
There is an Assistant Director of Student Development on all four training sites of the College of Medicine (i.e. Rockford, Urbana-Champaign, Peoria, and Chicago). Therefore, regardless of the campus you are assigned to your have a UHP champion in your success. Although the overall expertise is the same, the duties of each Assistant Director of Student Development vary by campus based on the unique needs and opportunities of the respective campus.
On the Rockford Campus, their is one Assistant Director of Student development who primarily manages the Rockford Medical Sudent Development program which serves 2nd through 4th year COM-UHP students working with the COM-UHP Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator. The Medical Student Development Program consists of six (6) components:

- Community Engagement Opportunities
- Awards and Scholarships
