Student Leadership Programs (SLP) provides programs and services to develop students to lead with excellence and integrity while they build community, personally flourish and act in a positive and socially responsible manner.  Our goal is to purposefully create, facilitate and foster leadership learning opportunities and experiences for COM-UHP students.

SLP seeks to achieve the following aims through the delivery of programs and services:

• To provide resources, training and information for student leaders of clubs and organizations regarding leadership development;
• To provide a clear mechanism by which students’ perspectives are collected and shared in the COM-UHP continuous improvement processes.

The programs and leadership development opportunities provided by SLP are based on Susan Komives’ Model of Student Leader Identity Development and seeks to create leaders who will abide by UIC-COM Student Leader’s Personal Code of Honor.
