Rotation Projects
Benevolenskaya laboratory is broadly interested in the link between tumor suppressor genes and epigenetic mechanisms. The lab employs methods of molecular biology, biochemistry, modeling in cell culture and in mice, live cell imaging, genomics and computational biology, to better understand epigenetic mechanisms driving cancer progression. Two rotation projects are currently available in the lab, reflecting two directions of the lab research:
– Role of histone demethylase KDM5A in pRB-mediated differentiation.
– Studying new mechanisms of drug resistance using single cell RNA sequencing.
